Every drain you monitor helps: \n\n\n\n\nReduce pollutants flowing into Waquoit Bay and local ponds\n\n\nPrevent street flooding during heavy rain\n\n\nShow local authorities which drains need service\n\n\nIdentify priority areas for more environmentally friendly drainage systems\n\n\n\n\nWaquoit Bay is an important estuary and Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) that has exceeded nitrogen pollution limits in every year measured. Adopt a storm drain to protect Waquoit Bay! \n\n\n\nStorm drain measuring tools were available while supplies lasted\, but they’re easy to make\, too.
